CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The United Way of the Southern Tier announced its annual online auction fundraiser Tuesday.

According to the organization, money raised through the auction will benefit programs for children, senior citizens and others in need in Chemung and Steuben Counties.

Items up for auction are a NASCAR weekend package for Watkins Glen International, an autographed Johnny Beecher Boston Bruins hockey jersey, Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors" children's book, autographed by the music star an a New York Giants collector football signed by the 2024 team, among other items.

The online auction is open for everyone. Items can be viewed and bid on here.

Bidding will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. Winners will be announced that night during the United Way's Annual Awards Dinner. Those who placed the winning bids can either pick up their items at the dinner or arrange a different pickup time.
