At the heart of all we do is our Test Kitchen. It's hard to believe that the Mr. Food Test Kitchen has been delivering quick & easy recipes and ideas for over three decades. Since our first TV segment aired, our test kitchen team, producers and editors have spent tens of thousands of hours working diligently to make sure every recipe is just right.
Every day as soon as the lights get turned on in our test kitchen the excitement starts all over as we test, taste, tweak, and retest every recipe until we come up with what we feel is worthy of our triple-tested stamp and has earned a big "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!"
Every recipe in our Test Kitchen must:
- Have ingredients that are readily available at a local supermarket
- Have as few ingredients as possible
- Have easy-to-follow step-by-step directions… because none of us have the time
- Use as few pots and pans as possible… because no one likes washing dishes
- Be fool-proof… which means it works every time
