Bradley Farms' Annual 'Eggsperience' Egg Hunt Celebration Kicks Off in Elmira
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- For the third year now, Bradley Farms in Elmira is hosting an Easter experience for kids and families. This weekend was the first of two for the spring festivities.
People of all ages came to meet the Easter Bunny and take pictures, play Beast Blast tennis ball, hop on a wagon ride around the farm, and more. Those who purchased tickets were also given a bag of hot and fresh mini donuts.
But the biggest hit of the "Eggsperience" was the egg hunt in the straw split up between age groups of kids 2-5 years old and kids 6-8 years old.
"There's a lot of hunts everywhere," said Dan Hurley, the owner of Bradley Farms. "We just wanted to add a little value and make something a little more different, let's say, different things for kids to do, but most importantly, by arranging them out, they can come in at different times. They're pre-registered online. It's a comfortable setting when they go to select eggs. They don't have to compete an awful lot, there's only 10 kids to a time. They can go in and pick up eggs. They can turn them in. They'll get a bag of goodies. They've got about at least an hour's worth of fun."
The celebration at Bradley Farms is still happening next weekend on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.
Sign-up slots for egg hunts on Easter weekend are still available and can be found on the Bradley Farms website. Tickets for each child cost $12 online and $15 in person.
