Road closure in Chemung County starts Monday

CHEMUNG, N.Y. (WENY) -- A bridge replacement will close Dry Brook Road in the town of Chemung starting Monday, April 14.
According to Chemung County Legislator Rodney Strange, the closure will affect the bridge over Dry Brook between Strops Road and Dininny Road. It's expected to reopen by September.
Drivers can follow a posted detour using County Road 60, Rotary Road, and West Dry Brook Road.
A message board is in place, and Mr. Strange says the schedule may change due to weather or equipment issues.
