Hornell man indicted for allegedly raping four children

BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Hornell man is facing 15 criminal charges after allegedly raping four children.
Mihaly Bodnar, a 54-year-old, allegedly raped children ages 8, 6, 4 and 2 over the course of three months, according to the Steuben County District Attorney.
He was arrested by the Department of Homeland Security at Newark International Airport with a one way ticket to Germany.
Bodnar is charged with one count of Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child, four counts of Predatory Sexual Assault, four counts of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child, four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and two counts of Assault.
If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison. Bodnar is currently in the Steuben County Jail on $1 million bail. He will be arraigned on the charges on April 15.
Bodnar is from Hungary, but is a legal citizen of the United States, WENY News confirmed with Steuben County officials Friday.
Bodnar also faces a rape charge in Hornell City Court.
