HECTOR, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Hector Town Supervisor was sentenced to 15 days in jail after being convicted of drunk driving, according to the Yates County District Attorney.

Justin Boyette was found guilty of Driving while Ability Impaired after a jury trial. According to the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office, he crashed his car on State Route 414 in Hector while driving drunk on Feb. 29, 2024.

Boyette was originally arrested on a felony DWI charge.
