Severe Weather Sunday

***A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE VIEWING AREA UNTIL 5:00 PM***
***A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR TIOGA COUNTY (PA) UNTIL 10:00 AM***
Rain showers will start around sunrise and a few thunderstorms will make an impact throughout the day, with the main threat coming from high winds. Temperatures will stay in the mid 60s before a cold front cools the area down to the 40s for Monday.
The main impacts from the day's storms mainly center around high winds in the range of 40-50 miles per hour, and rainfall accumulations of up to 3/4" total. Flood concerns are found further north of the viewing area. The heaviest rains are expected in the early afternoon, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
A quick return to the 60s comes around for Tuesday, lasting through Thursday. Following isolated rain showers on Thursday, light snow is possible early Friday thanks to another rapid cooldown to the low 40s. A cooler pattern opens up the door for rain and snow around next weekend, a departure from the warmer conditions seen throughout the week.
