Dry before weekend showers

Partly sunny skies will end out the week with temperatures returning to the upper 60s. Breezy conditions will be picking up tonight with clouds increasing ahead of our next system. Lows will be in the low to mid 40s. Saturday will be on the dry side with mostly cloudy skies. Breezy conditions will continue into the weekend. An isolated shower cannot be ruled out ahead of the system, but the best chance for showers will be Sunday. A few thunderstorms will be likely as well. Winds will also become strong and could exceed 40 mph. Temperatures will get to around 70 before the cold front moves through.Behind the front, temperatures will drop into the upper 40s for St. Patrick's Day. The first half of next week will be dry with partly sunny skies. The mid to upper 60s and a few 70s are expected Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, we will see a front move through the area with the chance for scattered showers. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
