The VNEA PA State 8-Ball Tournament returns to Erie this weekend. The tournament will kick off on Thursday, March 6 and will run through Sunday at the Bayfront Convention Center.

According to the Erie Sports Commission, the tournament is set to draw over 1,400 skilled pool players, solidifying its status as one of the largest 8-ball tournaments in the nation.

Almost 200 pool tables will fill the convention center.

The Erie Sports Commission says the event has the potential to generate $1.2 million in estimated economic impact to the region.
