The Erie Zoo will officially open for the 2025 season on Saturday, March 1. 

The Grand Reopening Day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the zoo. 

The event will feature free admission all day long, free food and drinks, and more. Coffee will be provided by the Millcreek Coffee Company and donuts will be provided by Mighty Fine Donuts.

Additionally, to celebrate the zoo's 100th year, the zoo is introducing Centennial Saturdays. The first 100 guests at each Centennial Saturday will receive a special treat from one of the zoo's supporting sponsors.
