WYALUSING TOWNSHIP, PA (WENY) -- A Renovo man died Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Route 6 in Wyalusing Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 8:16 AM. Investigators determined that the driver, David Stahl, 69, was traveling westbound in a 2019 Ford Fiesta when his vehicle veered off the roadway, striking a guard rail.

The car then crossed into the eastbound lane, hit a rock embankment, and came to a stop facing south.

According to police, Stahl was extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead while being transported to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital.

A preliminary investigation suggests Stahl may have suffered a medical emergency before the crash.

State police in Towanda are continuing to investigate the case.
