ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The highly anticipated Battle of the Badges is returning to LECOM Event Center next week.

The Elmira Fire Department and Chemung County Law Enforcement will be facing off on the ice on Saturday, March 1st at 7 p.m.  The game is free and open to the public.  Donations will be accepted at the gate, and will go towards a local charity.


Last year, Law Enforcement took home the bragging rights.  The Battle of the Badges began in 2017 and has returned annually to raise money for local agencies and charities.
