Donate Life New York State to Host 2nd Annual Student Art Contest
(WENY) -- In celebration of Donate Life Month, the Donate Life New York State is hosting its 2nd Annual Student Art Contest. Students are encouraged to share their donation stories and perspectives on organ donations through art.
Students can submit their artwork until February 28th and the winners will be announced by March 21st.
Entries must be submitted by a teacher or parent, and must include the participating student's name, grave level, age, address, phone number, and email. There are four categories for the contest: Elementary (Fourth and Fifth Grades), Middle School (Sixth through Eighth Grade), and High School (Ninth and Tenth Grade and Eleventh and Twelfth Grade.)
Artwork will be hung throughout the Legislative Office Building during Donate Life Month in April. The winners will receive a $100 gift card and will be recognized at a press conference on April 8th in Albany.
Mailed entries must be postmarked by Friday, February 28th and mailed to:
