BATH, NY (WENY) -- Steuben County's health department has launched an online dashboard for the public to see real-time overdose data.

Previously, Steuben County Public Health would post monthly updates on overdose data. The new dashboard consolidates and expands on that data, dating back to 2020. It will provide the most current statistics on fatal overdoses, and suspected overdoses, broken down by age range.

“This dashboard is a significant step forward in our efforts to combat the opioid epidemic in Steuben County,” said Darlene Smith, Public Health Director. “By making overdose data more accessible and transparent, we hope to empower our community to take action and support prevention and intervention strategies.”

The dashboard also shows the amount of times Narcan was used, and areas of concerns in the county.
