Troy Fair hires new ride and attraction company for 2025 event
TROY, PA. (WENY) -- The Troy Fair is partnering with a new ride and entertainment vendor for its 149th year. Officials announced Monday that Houghton Enterprises will be handling the attractions this year.
“We are always looking for ways to improve the Troy Fair and provide our visitors with the best possible experience,” said Josh Curren, President of the Troy Fair. “Houghton Enterprises’ reputation for high-quality attractions, family-friendly entertainment, and commitment to safety makes them the perfect fit for our fair.”
The attraction vendor will bring expanded ride options for all age groups, enhanced safety standards through modern equipment and interactive attractions through classic carnival games and new entertainment activities, according to a press release.
Houghton Enterprises is based in Cochranville, Pennsylvania. The family that runs the amusement company has over 50 years worth of combined experience in the industry, according to their website.
Fair officials called the move a "significant enhancement" to their attractions.
“We’re confident that this partnership will bring a new level of excitement and enjoyment to the Troy Fair,” Curren said. “We can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
The 2025 Troy Fair will be happening from July 21 to July 26 at the Troy Fairgrounds.
