Ambulance Struck in Vehicle Collision

A vehicle collision between an ambulance and truck with entrapment occurred in Spartansburg around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of the State Highway 89 and 77 on Jan. 17.
Spartansburg Fire Department, Pennsylvania State Police and Emergycare responded to the scene.
One firefighter says the Ambulance was doing an interfacility transport when it was hit by a truck. There were four minor injuries and three people were transported to Corry Memorial Hospital. The fourth person left in a personal vehicle to a hospital.
