Man indicted after Elmira hammer attack

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Chemung County has brought charges against the man accused of trying to kill someone with a hammer in Elmira last November.
Jacob Bulkley is charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Assault and Assault for his alleged role in the attack.
As WENY previously reported, Elmira Police say Bulkley tried to kill a person by hitting them multiple times in the head with a hammer inside a home on Magee St. His alleged victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident happened on November 13th. Bulkley was arrested a short time later.
