UPDATE 1/17: According to the Campville Fire Department, four people were trapped inside the burning home and needed to be rescued.

Two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

OWEGO, NY (WENY) -- On Thursday, Jan. 16 around 8 PM, several emergency crews responded to a house fire near Gaskill Road in the Town of Owego. 

According to a WBNG News crew on scene, multiple fire departments responded to the residence. 

The blaze was seen engulfing the entire structure. 

At this time, it’s not clear what caused the fire.
