Light Snow Thursday
A weak clipper system will bring periods of light snow to the Twin Tiers, beginning in the late morning and continuing into the afternoon. The system is moisture deprived, which will keep accumulation on the light side for most and ranging between 1-2". Highs will be in the mid 20s once again. Snow showers will taper overnight with lows in the upper teens. We end out the week with sun and clouds. Temperatures will be seasonable in the mid 30s. Low pressure will pass through the region on Saturday with a mix of rain and snow. Highs will climb into the upper 30s, but expect a drop in temperatures following the system. Temperatures drop back to the 20s on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies and the chance for flurries. Lows will be in the single digits on Sunday night. The first half of next week will be bitterly cold. Highs will be in the teens, while some do not escape the single digits. Lows will be in the single digits and below zero some nights. A passing snow shower cannot be ruled out Monday followed by fair skies and dry conditions Tuesday and Wednesday.
