Renovations at former Dana Lyon Elementary School underway
BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- Renovations at the former Dana Lyon Elementary School in Bath are now underway, according to Pike Construction Services, the company working on the project.
The company is turning the building into residential units, office space and a commercial space. Forty-nine units will be available to rent when construction is complete. The building will also feature on-site laundry, a management office, an exercise room, a community room, outdoor greenspace and more.
Pike Construction Services says they are working to preserve the building's historic charm, such as the masonry on the outside of the former school along with interior pieces like the doors and flooring.
