Winter Weather Advisory for Tompkins County
Cold and breezy conditions continue on Wednesday along with the chance for snow showers. Heavy snow bands will cause accumulation for some in Tompkins County, where a winter weather advisory was issued until early Thursday morning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20s and drop back into the lower teens on Wednesday night. Temperatures remain similar on Thursday with the chance for snow showers still sticking around.
The week will end out on a dry note with fair skies. Highs will be rising into the mid 30s followed by the upper 30s on Saturday. A front will approach on Saturday with increasing clouds along with the chance for rain and snow showers. Behind the front, colder air returns and snow showers will be possible. Temperatures will be in the mid 20s on Sunday. Even colder conditions are expected early next week with highs topping off in the teens! Lows at night will be in the single digits and negatives. Snow showers remain possible Monday followed by drier conditions Tuesday.
