Colder with snow showers

Mostly cloudy skies and occasional snow showers are expected on Tuesday. Temperatures will be below average in the low to mid 20s. Gusty winds out of the west will continue upwards of 30 mph at times. Wind chills will be in the teens, but drop back into the single digits and negatives at night. Lows will be in the mid teens with snow showers possible tonight. Scattered snow showers will be possible Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 20s. Snow accumulations through Thursday for most the region will be less than 2". We will end out the week with warmer temperatures in the upper 30s. Fair skies are expected before clouds move in for the weekend. Rain and snow showers kick off the weekend with highs in the lower 40s. Behind the system moving through on Saturday, expect a drop in temperatures with highs in the upper 20s. Sunday will consist of mostly cloudy skies and snow showers. Colder air continues to push into the Twin Tiers Monday with highs around 20 and lows around 0.
