Fire damages home in Southport

SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (WENY) -- A home caught fire in Southport on Sunday afternoon.
The fire happened on the 400 block of Bonaview Ave around 3 p.m. The home appeared to be heavily damaged by the flames, and crews worked for some time to put out the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
