Volunteers Wanted for Wreaths Across America Cleanup
(WENY) -- In December, thousands of wreaths were laid at gravestones at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, and Bath National Cemetery in Bath for the national Wreaths Across America event.
Now, volunteers are needed to help clean up the wreaths during a pick-up event later this month.
At Woodlawn National Cemetery, wreath pickup will be held at 9AM on Saturday, January 18th.
At Bath National Cemetery, wreath pickup will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 25th.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring broom handles, to help the pick up process run more quickly.
