No one hurt in school bus crash in Yates County

YATES COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) -- No one was hurt after a Penn Yan Central School District bus crashed during the morning hours of Tuesday, January 7th. It happened shortly after 8 a.m. in the area of State Route 247 and Mothersill Rd. in the Town of Porter.
According to the Yates County Sheriff's Office, the bus driver lost control due to winter road conditions, exited the road and went into a field where the bus hit several trees. Along with the driver, there were three children between the ages of 12 and 17 on the bus.
