Ithaca Police Involved in Accident with Pedestrian

ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- A person is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident with an Ithaca police car Saturday evening.
Ithaca police said an IPD vehicle was involved in an accident with a pedestrian on Saturday evening, in the area of Green Street and Cayuga Street in the city. No other details on the circumstances of the accident were provided.
Police say an investigation into the accident is underway, and further information will be released at a later time.
