Temperatures stay below average
Brisk and chilly conditions make up not just this weekend, but much of the upcoming workweek. Light snow showers along with temperatures in the upper 20s make up Saturday. Lake effect snow remains a possibility going into Sunday, mainly for communities in the Northern and Central Finger Lakes.
Highs drop into the mid-20s for Monday, and flurries come back into the forecast, mainly for counties further north of the state line. Snow showers could be more widespread going into Tuesday, with lows continuing to drop into the mid to lower 10s.
Following a break from snow Wednesday, a few flakes remain likely going into Thursday and Friday. Temperatures rebound slightly on Friday, despite remaining a tad below average.
