Partly sunny and warmer Monday
Fair skies kick off the day with clouds increasing into the afternoon. It will be a very cold start with highs expected into the upper-20s by the afternoon. A weak area of low pressure moves through Monday night into Tuesday. Periods of light snow are expected with accumulations upwards of 1" by Tuesday morning. A few flurries may linger into Tuesday afternoon with highs in the upper-30s. Christmas Day will be on the dry side with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-30s. We stay in the mid-30s on Thursday with partly sunny skies. The calm conditions end out the week with temperatures rising to 40 under mostly cloudy skies. We will be in the lower-40s to kick off the weekend with mostly cloudy skies. Cloudy skies and the chance for showers return on Sunday, where temperatures rise into the mid-40s.
