Light snow is expected to continue throughout parts of the day, tapering off in the evening. Temperatures crater into the single digits, and winds are set to drop wind chills down below zero.

Snow is absent on Sunday but cold air continues to bite the region as highs stay below 20 and lows move closer to 0. The work week sees more normalized temperatures and a quick return of snow, serving as a preview of the Christmas holiday conditions.

A mix of rain and snow comes around for Christmas Eve, likely tapering in the evening and before midnight. Both the eve of and Christmas Day see high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, hurting the chances of a White Christmas. High temperatures could get back to the 40s by Friday.
