Two Killed in Bradford Co. Crash Saturday
SOUTH CREEK TWP, PA (WENY) -- Two people died in a car accident over the weekend in Bradford County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened on State Route 14 in South Creek Township, south of Gillett. Police say just after 9AM Saturday, 29-year-old Skyler Drake, and his passenger, 29-year-old Rebecca High, where headed south on SR14 when Drake began to lose control of the car while on a curve, due to the snowy conditions.
The car crossed into the northbound, lane, and into the path of an oncoming Ram 2500 pickup truck with two people inside.
Drake and High were both pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not say if the pair were wearing seat belts.
The driver and passenger in the pickup truck were not seriously injured; the driver of the truck, a 54-year-old man from Troy, was transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre with suspected minor injuries.
