ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- An Ithaca man is facing a murder charge for allegedly killing his wife.

According to the Tompkins County District Attorney, Ahmed Abed, 43, is accused of murdering his wife, Alaa Husein Jeena Abedi, inside their Ithaca home on the morning of Nov. 11.

Abed was indicted by a Tompkins County grand jury on one count of second degree Murder.

He is currently being held in the Tompkins County Jail without bail. Abed faces 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
