Rain and snow will start off Thanksgiving and will continue into the afternoon hours. 1-3" of snow accumulation is expected with localized higher amounts especially in the higher elevations. Highs will be in the mid to upper-30s for Thanksgiving. The wintry weather tapers into the afternoon with light flurries possible tonight. Lows will be in the mid-20s. Lake enhanced snow showers will be possible for those who live closer to the Great Lakes, but a few bands of snow could bring light snow showers to others in the Twin Tiers. Highs will be in the upper-30s on Friday. Flurries remain possible this upcoming weekend with temperatures on the cold side in the mid-30s. Overnight lows will be in the upper-teens and lower-20s. We will continue with lake enhanced snow showers into early next week with highs in the mid-30s. Our next system will move in Wednesday with our next chance for snow.
