SAYRE, Pa (WENY) -- The Bridge of the Penn York Valley Churches is planning its 22nd Annual Sleepout Event.

The event starts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29th and goes through 3:00 p.m. the next day.  The public is to visit the makeshift shelter which will be in the parking lot of the Guthrie Desmond Street Practice

The sleepout is a major fundraiser for The Bridge each year that aims to bring awareness to the many needs in the community.  The Bridge say they want to show the community that there are families in the area that do not have enough resources to have a standard quality of life.
