ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Public skating hours are coming to the newly renamed LECOM Event Center.

Starting Saturday, community members will be able to skate or play with a stick and puck on the event center's ice.

Stick and puck sessions will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29 starting at 2:15 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 1 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Additional stick and puck sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Public skate sessions will be held Sunday, Nov. 24 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday Nov. 29 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday Nov. 30 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Admission to public skate sessions cost $10, while stick and puck sessions cost $15.
