Twin Tiers staying warm

Despite the cloudiness and possible showers today, temperatures are expected to climb above average into the mid 60s. A brief and inconsequential shower is possible later this afternoon as a warm front pushes up into the region, bringing in some warmer than average conditions.
The warm weather is not expected to stop anytime soon, as southerly flow increases over the next several days. Temperatures take a significant jump into the high 70s midweek, having the potential to break some records on both Wednesday and Thursday.
A cold front finally makes its way to the Twin Tiers on Friday, bringing along a handful of showers to the area in the morning. Temperatures sink into the 50s for the weekend, but are likely to bounce back into the 60s by Sunday, and continue climbing into Monday.
