Fire ignites, then spreads to two East Corning homes Friday night

EAST CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- What started as a fire in one home quickly spread to another in an East Corning neighborhood Friday night.
Calls for first responders to respond to the blaze on King Circle first came out around 9:45 p.m.
According to WENY's reporter on scene, bright flames and heavy smoke were visible coming from two homes, located just off State Route 352. Intense flames could still be seen in the backyard of the home that was initially on fire, around 10 p.m.
As of original publishing, multiple fire crews are still working to extinguish the fire. No details are yet available as to the extent of the damage, if anyone is hurt or the cause of the blaze.
