PINE VALLEY, N.Y. (WENY) -- One person was hurt after a crash on NY-14 in Pine Valley during the evening of Monday, September 2nd. According to New York State Police, a motorcyclist was traveling northbound on 14, when he left the Eastbound shoulder and continued through the grass, striking a concrete barrier.

Police say the motorcyclist was ejected during the crash, and is currently in critical condition in the ICU. According to first responders on scene, the crash involved at least one motorcycle. The person driving the motorcycle was airlifted to an area hospital.

NY-14 was briefly closed from the Town of Catlin line to County Route 59 in Veteran, but the roadway has since reopened.
