Holistic wellness center, Holistically You, opens its doors in Owego
OWEGO, N.Y. (WENY) -- Owego welcomed another new small business today with a ribbon cutting and remarks from the owners of the new establishment, Holistically You.
Locals in Owego and interested patrons all throughout the Southern Tier now have the opportunity to experience a unique and alternative form of wellness -- where the goal is to help anyone through a wide variety of wellness methods.
"I have worked in health care for over 12 years, so I know there's a huge need for an alternative route for health care and to be able to support women and to support anybody looking for an alternative experience in their health, in their wellness," stated Holistically You founder Annie Kolmel, who is also a certified holistic health practitioner.
Holistically You is a holistic health and well-being center located at 185 Front Street in the Village of Owego. They specialize in providing different methods and approaches to medicine and personal health by combining medicinal practices from both Western and Eastern cultures.
"We also offer non toxic products and some locally made products. We have Rocasa Organics, Root Splendor, but we also have locally made products as well. Rice bags, honey, beeswax, candles, intention bottles. And for today, we've got lots of samples of everything and we will have samples of products for people to try," added Kolmel.
Personal health consultations, energy services, and ionic foot baths are among several detoxification services available, and Kolmel is optimistic for the future, she's looking to build on the foundation currently set.
I love to share my wealth of knowledge of health in general, and the human body and everything, too," Kolmel said when discussing her passion and goals, "Just getting the word out there and having people focus on wellness, even if they just have questions, reach out to me."
Holistically You is open on 185 Front Street in Downtown Owego. This week they are open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m on Tuesday and Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on next Saturday, September 7th, and for appointments only on Wednesday and Thursday.
