(WENY) -- Two back to school giveaways are happening in the area this week, as school children get ready to go back to school next week.

On Wednesday, August 28th, in Elmira, school supplies and clothes will be given away at the Park Church by Runway for a Cause.  The giveaway is happening inside Beecher Hall from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday, September 1st, the Arnot Mall Barbershop will be giving free haircuts, backpacks, and other school supplies.  That is happening from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and it is first come first served.
