VP Kamala Harris Accepts Democratic Nomination for President at DNC Night 4
CHICAGO, IL (WENY) -- On the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Vice President Kamala Harris accepted her party's nomination, becoming the first woman of color to be the designated nominee for the presidency.
Among the policy issues Harris said she would tackle of elected, include reproductive freedom, ending America's housing shortage, and providing more business opportunities for entrepreneurs. She says she would work with Congress to pass a middle class tax cut, that will help 100 million Americans.
Harris also attacked former president and Republican nominee Donald Trump, alleging that he only cares about the rich, and benefiting himself and the most wealthy. Chants of "We're Not Going Back" echoed throughout the arena several times during Harris' speech.
