Police: Hornell man arrested after shooting at person on porch
HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- A man has been arrested after allegedly shooting at a person sitting on a back porch in the City of Hornell, according to the Hornell Police Department.
Police say Michael Bloom, a 33-year-old man from Hornell, fired about four shots at a person Saturday night from his parked car a block away. No one was injured from the bullets. Bloom then sped away from the scene, according to H.P.D.
Police later arrested and charged Bloom with Attempted Murder, Criminal Use of a Firearm, Criminal Contempt, two counts of Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Bloom is currently in the Steuben County Jail, according to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office.
