NICHOLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tioga Downs Casino Resort made a big difference for local veterans Friday, August 16th. Before the Ashley McBryde concert, Chairman Jeff Gural handed over a check for $95,680 to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group (STVSG).
 
This money came from ticket sales for the July 11th Night Ranger concert, and Gural matched every dollar raised. 
 
"We’re happy to bring in great acts while helping out local nonprofits and charities," Gural shared.
 
The STVSG helps veterans, service members, and their families in the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Pennsylvania. Gural encouraged everyone to keep supporting the group. 
 
"We always look forward to celebrating the important work of the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group and hope you will continue to support them and their mission outside of Tioga Downs."
 

It was a great night of music and giving back, showing how Tioga Downs is committed to helping the community.
