ATHENS, PA (WENY) -- Police are on what they are calling an "active scene" at a location in Athens Township.

Police were tight-lipped and wouldn't say anything other than it was an active scene. Crime scene tape was blocking off a portion of property Shepard Road. 

One Athens Township Police was blocking the entrance to the property, and another law enforcement vehicle could be seen further back. WENY's videographer also saw a hearse leaving the scene.
