26 dogs rescued from Big Flats home by Southern Tier Animal Control

UPDATE 7/28 -- According to STAC, adoption applications for the dogs have closed. In a FaceBook post, they thanked the community for their outpouring of support for the animals.
BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Southern Tier Animal Control (STAC) says they rescued 26 dogs from a home in Big Flats on Saturday.
In a FaceBook post, STAC says they seized 16 young adult Shih Tzu's and 10 seven-week-old Shih Tzu's. The organization says the dogs will need medical care and grooming. They say the dogs are not up for adoption yet, but adoption applications can be found here.
