United Way of Tompkins County recognizes those for their service
TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. ( WENY)-- The United Way of Tompkins County is recognizing people and organizations for their service to the agency.
Each year, the United Way recognizes its community campaign chair, volunteer of the year, key business partners and others. The agency will also allocate $525,000 to its United Tompkins Impact Fund for the upcoming fiscal year.
This fund helps support human services needed based on community needs and assessments. The funding focuses on access to safe, affordable housing, youth success, food security accessible transportation services, marginalized communities and the whole health and well-being.
