ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- On Friday, June 28th, Ithaca Police Officers responded to two different shooting scenes and one related car accident. 

Authorities say the first shooting happened in the 400 block of Adams Street just after 1:30 pm. The second shooting occurred in the 100 block of West Village Place a few minutes before 2:00 pm.

At each location, officers and investigators confirmed that shootings did occur. IPD says there was evidence like spent shell casings and bullet impacts at both scenes.

Minutes after 4:00 pm, Officers say they also responded to the 300 block of Third Street for a motor vehicle accident that was related to the first two shootings.

When IPD arrived to the scene of the accident, they say they found two of the involved cars still on the scene. Following another investigation, authorities determines that one involved vehicle intentionally rammed the other involved vehicle.

Officials say there are no know victims involved in any of these incidents. Authorities added, it appears these three incidents have involved parties that are known to one another.  IPD says, these were not random acts.

Investigations into each of the incidents are ongoing and criminal charges are pending.
