Heat relief is fast approaching, but the humidity today is likely to spark some thunderstorms for the region. Severe weather remains possible as wind and hail could play a factor later today. Temperatures are likely to climb back up to the upper 80s before falling back down to the low 60s.

Monday will see a departure from the oppressive heat as many will likely stay below 80 degrees for high temperatures. A few more showers are possible as well as a cold front drapes over the region. A another warmup is in store for Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures climb close to 90 once again.

After a few showers on Wednesday, a dry end to the work week follows with a brief cool down on Thursday and another short-term warmup for Friday as highs go back up to the 80s. Next weekend is looking quite warm again with highs close to 90.
