Towanda's Wild West Outfitters Grand Opening: Where Style Meets Adventure
TOWANDA, Pa (WENY) -- Wild West Outfitters officially opened their doors on Friday to offer clothes, southern essentials, axe throwing, a rage room and future family activities. The family oriented business put on a show with food, music and shopping to welcome people from across the Northern Tier into a new local shop.
"New for our grand opening we have axe throwing lanes and our rage rooms that are now going to be open," says Lauren Cerio
At the grand opening which came just five and a half weeks after the soft launch, visitors stopped by to do some shopping, hang out in the sweltering heat that was slowly cooling down for the first official weekend of Summer 2024.
"We've also gotten in a lot more merchandise and holding different brands of clothing. Hopefully, in the future you're going to see a lot of events like concerts. We currently have a concert going on today, so concerts, food trucks, we're going to try "to hold events for the children outside, movie nights, you know different things to bring the community together," says Cerio
The store offers and specializes in exotic boots made from animals like ostriches and sharks, and many types of high visibility work wear. At the celebration, a former American Idol star from season 17 who calls the Northern Tier home performed.
