UPDATE: 6/21/2024 1:30 P.M. -- Guthrie announced that back-up power is now working at the Sayre Clinic, and phones are also working. As a result, the majority of appointments set for today can continue as scheduled.

However, officials say Sayre ENT and the Weight Loss Center are experiencing power issues.

SAYRE, PA (WENY) -- Guthrie announced they are experiencing power disruptions on Friday, June 21st at the Guthrie Sayre campus. While back-up power is up and running at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, the Clinic is without power.

The campus itself is not able to receive incoming calls at the moment. On top of that, they are also having issues making outgoing calls at times.

Guthrie officials say they expect the issue to be resolved today, and that staff is working to contact patients whose appointments are being impacted. As it stands, Sayre ENT, Desmond Street and the Weight Loss Center all have power.
