CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Corning man was arrested by New York State Police after a child pornography investigation.

According to police, Kevin Pilon, a 59-year-old from Corning, allegedly had a "large amount of child sexual abuse material" stored on his computer.

State Police started investigating Pilon several months ago after they got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Pilon is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, both felonies.

Pilon was taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
